We understand that sometimes things don't work out — customers change their minds, schedules shift, or circumstances change. The booking fee covers the confirmed connection, not the completed work. By the time you click "Accept & Book," both you and the customer have messaged, agreed on the scope, confirmed the price, and set the schedule. That's a qualified, confirmed lead — and that's what the fee covers. If you want to eliminate per-job fees entirely, the Pro plan gives you unlimited bookings for a flat $35/month.

Yes. By registering as a provider you agree to our Provider Agreement, which covers your independent contractor status, your responsibility for licensing and insurance, how fees work, and platform conduct standards. We encourage you to read it before creating your account.

No. skilld.pro does not verify licenses, certifications, or insurance, and does not conduct background checks on providers. Customers are informed of this. You are responsible for holding any required licenses or credentials for the services you offer. See Section 2 of the Provider Agreement for your obligations.

No. Providers on skilld.pro are independent contractors. You set your own schedule, control how you work, set your own prices, and are responsible for your own taxes and compliance with applicable law. skilld.pro is a marketplace platform, not an employer. This is clearly outlined in our Provider Agreement.
